Primacoustic has developed an effective way to absorb frequencies across a broad spectrum with its MaxTrap. With its high absorption power, the MaxTrap has control over high and mid frequencies and the so-called suspended diaphragm absorbs up to 50 Hz! These panels are ideal for smaller studios and provide a well-balanced acoustic space.

MaxTrap: excels at absorbing deep, low bass

The true strength of Primacoustic's MaxTrap lies in absorbing very low frequencies. The panel cleverly uses its overall length and self-detects which area is problematic by analysing vibrations in the area where bass is most prominent. In this way, the MaxTrap migrates the excessive bass naturally by resonating quietly, thus eliminating the excess frequencies.

Construction

Uniquely designed, the MaxTrap consists of a 7.6 cm thick panel measuring 60.9 cm x 121.9 cm and made of glass wool. This material effectively absorbs frequencies up to 100 Hz. Behind this panel houses a room with enclosed air and this ensures that critical low frequencies are effectively absorbed. The MaxTrap combines a so-called diaphragmatic resonator with the full length of the panel and is completely sealed, creating a three-stage absorption across the entire sound spectrum.
