Since the rise in digital audio equipment in home studios, the number of professional recordings in these spaces has increased dramatically. In principle, these rooms were not designed for such applications and often gave huge problems in acoustics. Often these rooms were small and the walls were close together and this irrevocably creates harsh reflections and so-called flutter and echo effects. MaxTrap: try stopping a train

In particular, the MaxTrap was developed to effectively absorb very low frequencies (bass). Precisely these frequencies often cause problems as they are much more powerful and reach much further than the higher frequencies. To illustrate this, think of stopping a bicycle. Now try stopping a train. You understand the analogy here. Once a locomotive has momentum, stopping it directly is almost impossible. It is precisely for this application that the MaxTrap is ideally suited. This is because it absorbs frequencies of up to 50 Hz and these frequencies possess an enormous amount of energy compared to higher frequencies. So 'managing' it properly is of enormous importance.

A complete solution

When you combine Primacoustic's MaxTrap and FullTrap with standard Broadway panels, you will immediately notice that the low frequencies (bass) immediately become tighter. Chatter echoes and standing waves are also significantly reduced. The room thus immediately becomes suitable for monitoring and mixing audio applications as there is less interference. This ensures that your mix translates more and more accurately to reality, so that the results in different rooms come across better.
