Primacoustic's FullTrap is an efficient bass trap that absorbs problematic or excessive bass below 100 Hz up to 50 Hz. Especially in somewhat smaller rooms where the installation of corner panels is not an option, due to windows or doors for example, a FullTrap offers a solution. A bass trap is the ideal addition to any acoustically treated room and will reduce problematic low frequencies to a more natural and neutral order.

FullTrap: Broadband Bass Trap

The FullTrap consists of a front absorber located at the front of the panel. This ensures that the high and mid frequencies are absorbed in a controlled way. The front of the panel consists of glass wool, which has a very high density and is ideally suited for acoustic treatment of (studio) spaces. Behind the panel is an area that is completely sealed, allowing it to optimally record the very low, critical frequencies.

Functioning as a huge microphone

The remarkable absorption of low frequencies made possible by this FullTrap is due to the way the so-called suspended diaphragm works. This is because it uses the full length of the panel and actually acts like a huge microphone where bass is captured by vibrating where the bass is most prominent to then bring it back to a more neutral state.
