Adam T5V Active Studio Monitor (Single Unit)

Love the sound, brought these when setting up my home studio for recording radio links and jingles, helps to see if they sound radio quality.

Adam T5V Active Studio Monitor (Single Unit)

Lovely flat curve. Enough umph to carry bass and intricate enough for delicate sound resolution. I love them even if my neighbours don't

Adam T5V Active Studio Monitor (Single Unit)

They’re good. Of course they are - you’d expect that. One criticism, which is why they only get 4 stars from me, is that if you turn the mains off before switching the speakers off individually, then there’s a massive bang from the speakers. I don’t know if it’s bad enough to cause damage, but this simply should not happen and is a design flaw. I cannot be the only one to power my studio from a single mains switch.

I bought these to replace some older JBL 5” monitors which were developing case vibrations due to age. Strangely, I was delighted that the Adams sound very similar to the JBLs - as one would expect from studio monitors. Yes the ribbon tweeters add clarity on instruments like violins, but overall I would say they’re almost indistinguishable from the JBLs. I am very happy with them but I hope that the next generation sort-out the dreadful transient when the mains is switched off as that’s an unforgivable flaw.

IsoAcoustics ISO-155 Speaker Stands (Set of 2)

Superb desktop monitor stands. I have a pair of AE1 monitors on these stands. Very sturdy with useful height extensions. They also look pretty cool. Would recommend.

Quick and hassle-free delivery by Bax.

All happy here.

Pete.

Adam T5V Active Studio Monitor (Single Unit)

Excellent speakers, I bought them for enjoyment, not for work, but they are waaaaay better than the price would suggest. If you want an upgrade from this, you have to spend a lot more money.

Solid State Logic SSL 2 MKII Audio Interface

Adam T5V Active Studio Monitor (Single Unit)

Excellent rapport qualité prix, le son est de très bonne qualité, seul point à améliorer serait une diode en façade car il est facile d’oublier de les éteindres
