General
Teenage Engineering's PO-33 K.O! is a micro sampler with 40 seconds of memory time on board. There are 8 sample slots for melodies that can be combined with 8 drum slots. You can then put awesome tracks together quickly and easily using the 16-step sequencer and even add built-in effects. You can record your own samples using the built-in microphone or the line input. The PO-33 K.O! runs on two AAA batteries and also has a clock with an alarm function as well as an LCD display that shows fun animations.

Brilliant fun 😊 much more powerful than it looks. Performance effects are excellent & can all be recorded into the sequence. You can get lost for hours with just this little sampler. Get one.

The PO33 is a very low budget option in the world of samplers, this is reflected in its sound quality - not really comparable to higher cost samplers such as MPCs and Octatrack. But in and substantially above its price range, it represents a very strong option with a range of possible sampling methods, options for recording, playback, adding effects, synchronising with other gear, and sample manipulation. This makes it a genuinely amazing option to get into the world of hardware samplers, the only real downside is its sound quality, but if you enjoy the slightly more lo-fi sound of older samplers, even this can be seen as a positive.

Sirieus goed en makkelijk te gebruiken samplertje. Je neemt em zo mee onderweg waarmee je overal kan samplen met de kwalitatief goede microfoon en orginele tracks maken met de sequencer. Minpuntje is de wat korte opname tijd. Maar zeker voor het maken van beats is dit toch wel lang genoeg.
