The Ortega OUBJE90-MA-L banjolele is exactly what you would expect it to be: a cross between a banjo and a ukulele. Played and tuned like a uke with a high G, this instrument boasts the size of a concert ukulele and the resonance chamber of a banjo, complete with a banjo head and open back. Its maple neck has 18 frets and has been stunningly finished with soft, satin lacquer while, for an even more vintage appearance, both the tone ring and machine heads are copper-coloured.
