General

The Roland V-1HD+ with computer interface combines two handy products for anyone who wants to start their own broadcasting online. The V-1HD+ is a video switcher/mixer to which you can connect four HDMI sources (in practice these are cameras). You decide when your audience sees which camera, with wipes if you want. Effects like Chroma-Key are supported, picture-in-picture and more. In terms of audio, too, everything is fine. The only thing missing was a method to get the output to your computer - so that you can stream it there. That's why Roland also released the UVC-01, a kind of video interface that converts HDMI to USB3.0. Plug it into your computer, and ready; streaming to the internet! Hence this handy bundle; if you want to broadcast towards the internet, you need both these things.

Wij gebruiken deze videoswitcher voor onze huisomroep. Het werkt prima. Ook het geluidgedeelte is naar onze wensen perfect. Het kleine formaat geeft goede inbouw mogelijkheden. Wij hebben al ervaring met andere Roland Switchers. Deze doet daar niet voor onder. Het is een aanrader.

Hoe kleiner, hoe veelzijdiger en hoe flexibeler en multifuncioneler - hoe beter...

De PLUS versie van de V-1HD serie (ik heb ook de V-2HD switcher / scaler) is een grote verbetering bij kleine video - mix - livestream en recording projecten, vooral omdat het ook actief een klein PA kan aansturen: 2 microfoons bijvoorbeeld, plus mixen en control naar 2 outputs (jack).

Ik gebruik deze set voor event recording, mixing en streaming en kan heel eenvoudig PiP en nu zelfs SbS mixen: twee inputs side by side - bv slides en spreker. Plus 14 kanaals mixer audio (met equaliser) en nog veel meer via de iPAD app (bv 8 presents...) teveel om op te noemen. En dat in een klein formaat, met start-up state: dus je weet precies met welke van die 8 presets je begint: zo kan ik ook minder ervaren operators snel aan het werk zetten en houden.

Kan het van harte aanbevolen aan iedereen die kleine 1-2-3 camera events wil opnemen.
