Sennheiser's EW-D SKM-S Base Set not only frees you from the tether of a cable, but gives you the freedom to pick your preferred microphone capsule for the included EW-D SKM-S handheld transmitter. And thankfully, there's plenty to choose from.

Digital Precision

The D in EW-D stands for digital. In other words, the advanced digital tech that splits up the frequency band with maximum efficiency, making sure that using multiple EW-D systems at the same time is no problem and doesn't cause any signal interference. Meanwhile, the pro-grade AD/DA conversion guarantees a massive dynamic range, a hard-to-find noise floor and distortion-free sound.

A Sound Engineer on Your Smartphone

While the EW-D EM receiver features a clear display and fuss-free settings menus, what really makes this wireless system so easy to use is the EW-D Smart Assist App. This intuitive app keeps you up to date with the signal strength and battery status, and also helps you manage the wireless frequency spectrum when using multiple systems at the same time. Best of all, you don't need to be a skilled sound tech to run an EW-D system since setting up is as simple as selecting your preferred presets.
