This wireless set, for instance, combines a compact BLX4 receiver and a BLX2 transmitter with a PG58 microphone head. Setting up a connection between the two is easy, so even beginners will love working with this attractive wireless handheld system.

Shure BLX-2 handheld transmitter with SM 58 microphone capsule

The Shure BLX-2 is a handheld microphone that provides a great deal of durability. The BLX-2 has a durable construction, is light of weight and operates for up to 14 hours on two AA batteries. The PG58 microphone capsule ensures adequate vocals and speech signal transfers. The dynamic microphone has a cardioid pickup pattern and is insensitive to feedback. The maximum distance between the BLX-2 handheld transmitter and the BLX-4 is 90 metres.

Shure BLX-4 receiver

The BLX-4 is a compact, lightweight receiver, equipped with powerful internal antennas. This means that you won't have to endlessly rotate and adjust the antennas in the hope that reception improves. It is very easy to set up thanks to the Shure QuickScan function. This function ensures that the system automatically makes a good connection with your handheld transmitter. To transmit your output to a mixer, the receiver is equipped with both an XLR and a 1/4" connector.
