General
With the B-Hype series, dB Technologies have developed a range of active full-range speakers that are worthy of succeeding their popular Cromo line. This particular 8-inch speaker has been given all the latest upgrades and can deliver 260 watts of power, which is more than enough to fill any space with music.
dB Technologies B-Hype 8: Smallest sibling, biggest sound
The B-Hype series has received some significant updates. For starters, the grille now covers the entire front panel of the speaker. It has a 24-bit DSP with a dual equalizer. Using the handles on top and sides, you can manoeuvre the B-Hype from just about any position. You can also use it as a stage monitor by positioning it at a 45-degree angle. The horn has been optimised to reproduce the mid and high frequencies beautifully, and provide powerful sound projection.
Compact and suitable for anything
This relatively lightweight BH-12 houses a Class-D amplifier with an SPL of 120 dB as well as two inputs for an XLR or jack. It also gives you a choice of two equalizer presets, namely Flat and Boost. Mounting this speaker on a stand is no problem thanks to the 36 mm pole mount underneath. Last but not least, this speaker has a black finish.

J'ai acheté récemment 2 enceintes dB Technologies B-Hype 8 pour les utiliser sur scène comme retour claviers.
J'en suis très satisfait car elles sont légères à transporter et leur puissance permet d'avoir de la rèserve.
Pas de complication de réglages pour des retours.
En plus à mon goût elles ont un aspect soigné .
Et le prix est très attractif.

De B-Hype is -wanner je hem liggend gebruikt- een heel prettige Floor monitor. Lekker helder van geluid, zodat we de meerstemmige zang goed kunnen afstemmen. Fout in het ontwerp is dat de monitor in horizontale positie óf op de 220 snoer óf op de XLR ligt.
De service bij Bax Music was belabberd. Eerst (tijdens Black Friday) 11 weken wachttijd melden en de volgende dag 10 speakers op voorraad melden (zonder de korting!) Daar wordt je als klant niet blij van,

2 stuks aangekocht in combinatie met Devine Artis B15A 15 inch actieve subwoofer 500W. Fantastisch setje voor kleinere Party's. De tops alleen geven niet zoveel bass, maar zoals ik zei, in combinatie met is het een degelijke set en voldoet geheel aan mijn verwachtingen.

Eerste speaker die ik kreeg, werkte helaas niet. binnen 24 uur had bax een nieuwe geregeld. Draai er nu 3 jaar mee als monitor, nooit problemen gehad en super fijn geluid voor het geld! echt een aanrader

Prima speaker. Ik dacht eerst dat hij minder goed werkte of doorgeblazen was, maar toen kwam ik er achter dat de Jack ingang niet volledig aansloot op de jack kabels die ik had. Gelukkig werkt de XLR ingang wel prima en komt er voor de rest prima geluid uit.

Achète juste 1 pour un retour DJ
Les+ : compact,grande réserve de puissance dans les médiums et aigue , très efficace en retour et bien sur le prix
Les- : en position retour les connectiques ne sont pas adapté, même à bas régime et corrige les basses sont manquantes. Le module d amplification chauffe un peu .
Acheter en connaissance de cause je suis très satisfait de mon achat (pour lutilisation que j en ai ) . Pour une utilisation plus standard il faudra forcément compléter par des renforts de basses
