This compact, 50W combo has been armed with a custom 12-inch speaker and features the latest Tube Logic technology for even richer tone and an improved response compared to its predecessors. With six amp models and five effect sections for a total of fifteen effects, this third-gen Katana gives guitarists ample options during gigs, rehearsals, recording and practice sessions.

The Katana 50 Gen 3: Improved Tone Studio App

The Katana 50 Gen 3 not only sets you up with four Tone Settings for saving and recalling your favourite amp-and-effect settings, but is supported by the improved BOSS Tone Studio app. This smart widget makes editing the various sounds and effects as smooth and streamlined as can be while offering access to 60 high-quality effects, in-depth editing tools including three Cabinet Resonance settings, multiple EQ settings, and more.

Power Control & Power Amp Input

BOSS has also equipped the newest Katana Series amps with a Power Control, which makes sure that the sound and response remain fully intact when you turn down the output capacity for smaller gigs, rehearsal and practice sessions. In addition, you're looking at a Power Amp input for hooking up preamps, modellers and multi-effect units; a USB port for recording directly to a computer or mobile device, and the option to connect a Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adapter for wireless backing track streaming and eased editing from the comfort of your phone.
