The Yamaha Arius YDP-105 is a very basic model digital piano. In this case, that means that the casing looks classy, as we know it from Yamaha. A nice piece of furniture for the living room, in other words. At the same time, a lot of heaps of features have been left out, for two reasons. First of all, the price of the product can remain competitive, something that is just right for starters. Secondly, many who just want to play the piano - for piano lessons, for instance - rarely if ever need all those extras. So those who are essentially looking for purely a piano, but can appreciate some of the advantages of the digital world, will be very well served by this YDP-105.

Features of the Yamaha Arius YDP-105

For piano lessons, there are some handy things in this piano. Two headphone connectors, for instance. This way, first of all, you can practice quietly yourself without bothering roommates, and you can let your teacher (or anyone else) listen in. The Duo function is also handy for lessons; this divides the keyboard into two more or less equal parts. The teacher plays something on the right, and you play along on the left.
