General

A more stripped-back take on the GX-100, the Boss GX-10 Multi-Effects Processor runs on the same DSP engine and brings just as much power. This model also supports the same intuitive workflow via a full-colour, LCD touchscreen display, which grants access to fifteen assignable effect blocks and a flexible set of routing options, so you can build a board from scratch and fully customise the effects chain. Just like the GX-100, the GX-10 has been set up for bassists as well as guitarists.

The Boss GX-10: Broad-Range, Pro-Grade Sound

This compact effects tank already comes loaded with ninety-nine professionally-calibrated presets, so you can start playing right out of the box, and space has also been spared for an extra 198 user presets, so you can make and save your own bespoke creations. Thirty-two ultra-realistic, AIRD-driven amplifier emulations are supplied, giving you a broad scale of possible foundation tones and, piled on top of that, you have a good 170 effects to flip through and the on-board phrase looper features up to 38 seconds of recording time in mono or 19 seconds in stereo, and serves as the sweet icing on the sonic cake.

Modern Convenience

Even when you look at the speaker simulations on offer, the Boss GX-10 is impressive. Select one of an extensive stack of cab sims and load in an extra sixteen IRs as preferred. Various microphone types are also available, so you can combine your selected cab with a dynamic mic, condenser mic or ribbon mic and properly customise your virtual rig. The integrated expression pedal is yet another perk, and can be assigned with any parameter so it can be tweaked hands-free but, if that's not quite enough control, a compatible external footswitch or expression pedal can also be hooked up and, by adding the BT-DUAL adapter to the setup, you can even set up this potent processor to support Bluetooth audio streaming.
