To say that the DR-40X was a huge stunner of a hit is a huge understatement. That field recorder was astronomically popular, and in itself understandable given its price and capabilities. But the DR-40X is no more; replaced by the latest shoot on the tree: the Tascam DR-40XP field recorder. Is it the same thing?
