With this Sela Percussion Iconic Cajon you get a very unique and special cajon. This cajon combines three instruments in one! You have, of course, the cajon itself, but it also comes with two so-called Sela "Ions". These Ions are modular circular 'pads', each giving a unique texture and sound. You easily mount these Ions in the circular opening at the top left and right of the cajon. The cajon has a body made of beech wood, an Oak Roots wood pickguard and finish and a size of 48 x 32 x 30 cm. The cajon is equipped with 4 tunable strings (2 on each side) and features multiple soundports.

This Iconic cajon already comes with two Ions: a Cuban Ion with an authentic goatskin, which simulates the sound of a bongo. The second Ion included is a Turkish Ion, which delivers a sound inspired by the darbuka. It has a green synthetic skin, making it less likely to be affected by temperature and humidity. Apart from these two included Ions, the Peruvian, Kenyan and Guinean Ions are also available separately. You easily assemble and disassemble the Ions with the included hex key.
