General

The Roland Blues Cube Stage is a versatile guitar amplifier with the looks and sound of a vintage combo. Thanks to Roland's Tube Logic design, the entire circuitry of a classic Tweed amplifier is reproduced, from guitar input to speaker output. As such, the Blues Cube Stage takes amplifier modelling into previously uncharted territory, supplying the warmth, dynamics and touch response of a real tube amp, with all the benefits of a transistor. Armed with a 12-inch speaker and 60 Watts of power, the Blues Cube Stage is ready for some serious stage work.

Roland Blues Cube Stage: Two Channels and Dual Tone

This compact combo features two independent channels. The Clean channel offers the authentic warmth and bite of a tube amp, while the Crunch channel provides you with a wide distortion range, from a mild edge to a more aggressive tone. Each channel has a boost option for extra gain and a tone button for an alternative sound. Press the Dual Tone button and both channels are combined for a wide range of versatile, rich tones. Like a vintage tube amplifier, the Roland Blues Cube Stage lends itself perfectly for use with stompbox effects. To start off with, though, a high-grade reverb has been built-in.

Variable Power, USB and Other Connectors

Tube amplifiers sound better if you turn up the volume. The Blues Cube Stage, however, allows you to decrease the power, so you can play at a lower volume (in your bedroom, for instance) and still produce the same tube-like distortion you get on stage. The Power Control knob offers you a choice of four levels: 60 Watts, 45 Watts, 15 Watts of 0.5 Watts. For midnight jams a headphone output has been provided, and a USB connector and line output enable you to record directly to your computer. Plug in an optional foot switch and you can switch between channels and activate the Dual Tone from a distance.
