Simply put, the Gator Cases G-112A offers your 1x12" guitar combo reliable protection in the form of a comfortable-to-carry wooden flight case covered with raw nylon. So you can place your combo on it, the top of this splash-proof case has been reinforced and mounted with rails to keep the amp from toppling over - even during the loudest of gigs. Inside, the case features 20mm of soft foam padding finished with a layer of tricot and, next to an accessory pocket, Gator have fitted a retractable handle and a set of wheels to make sure the whole thing is easy to get from A to B and back.

Ik was op zoek naar een case voor mijn lampenversterker. Een gewone hoes biedt eigenlijk geen bescherming, en een flight case is dan weer wat overdreven.
Ik vond deze Gator case die gebouwd is van licht hout overtrokken met nylon, met wieltjes en een hendel voor makkelijk transport.
Het is een universele case, waar verschillende 1x12 versterkers in passen. Voor mijn versterker is deze iets te groot maar de extra ruimte kan ik gebruiken om er mijn multi-effecten in op te bergen. En vooraan is er een groot vak waarin je een boel kabels kwijt kan.
Op die manier heb ik geen extra tassen meer nodig.
De case biedt zeer goede bescherming, en het leuke is ook dat je de versterker bovenop kunt plaatsen zodat hij op een goede hoogte staat voor het geluid en voor de bediening.
Hou er wel rekening mee dat deze case wel wat weegt en toch vrij groot is. Daardoor is het niet eenvoudig om hem in een auto koffer te tillen. Daar hou je best rekening mee als je deze case overweegt.
