General

Yamaha's MGX series is the latest generation of digital mixers. The MGX16V is a mixer with video interface. It has 16 faders and the ability to record up to 22 tracks digitally. Several effects such as reverb, delay and compression make this mixer truly a total package for recording as well as live music, podcasts and content creators. Each channel has its own four-band equaliser that can be easily and precisely controlled via the 4.3-inch touchscreen and the 5 buttons below. Besides 8 mono inputs with XLR/jack combination connection and 4 stereo channels, there is the possibility of wireless audio playback via Bluetooth 5.0.

Digital possibilities: for the modern musician and content creator

What makes the MGX16V unique compared to other mixing consoles is its video interface. This makes it ideal for content creators, youtubers and streamers, or musicians and bands who stream live music or make image recordings of their performances. The HDMI input can be used to process an image signal. The audio from this can be mixed in the mixer with sound from other devices, instruments or microphones. The whole thing can be recorded with image attached to a computer via the USB connection. To monitor the image signal, or for example when recording the image of a (game) computer, an HDMI-through output is provided.
