General

With the Yamaha Stage Custom Birch Honey Amber, you can expect a fantastic drum set for an attractive price. Yamaha has recently updated this set, whose beginnings go back to 1995, so now you can enjoy the same excellent set with modern updates and technology. This truly is the great quality we're used to from Yamaha! This drum kit has a fusion configuration and consists of a 20-inch bass drum, a 14-inch floor tom, two toms at 10 and 12 inches each and a 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum. Yamaha HW-680 drum stands and a bass drum pedal are also included.

Lugs, hoops and stoppers

The shell lugs are mounted with a single screw, in order to avoid making unnecessary holes in the shells for optimal sound. Additionally, the triple flanged (1.5 mm) tom hoops offer an open sound with longer sustain, while the wooden bass drum hoop offers a deeper, fuller bass sound. Stoppers have been added to the bass drum feet to give the drum extra stability and for an easier set-up.

YESS tom mounting system

Thanks to Yamaha's YESS tom mounting system, you can expect an optimal sound. This special tom holder allows the toms to resonate freely, and makes it easy to position the toms however you want them. Furthermore, the central positioning of the tom holder works to reduce unwanted vibrations from the toms, so you can have a full bass drum sound and freely resonating toms along with the freedom to position your set in any way that suits your posture and playing best! Additionally, you'll be happy to note that changing your drum heads is incredibly simple thanks to this system. Finally, the ball mount and clamp makes it easy to rotate the tom for easier tuning and positioning. All in all, this is a beautiful mid-range set for an excellent price.

Lightweight stands

As previously mentioned, a set of stands comes with this fusion set. The HW-680 hardware package consists of two cymbal stands with tilters, a hi-hat stand, a snare stand and a bass drum pedal with a felt beater. The set is completely adjustable and conveniently compact.
