With a natural finish for a rustic look, this Yamaha Stage Custom Birch drum kit delivers Yamaha quality and innovation. This improved Custom Birch drum set has been developed with the customer feedback in mind, and includes improved shell hardware. There are additional configurations and colours of this Custom Birch set available as well, so you can always find the perfect fit. This set has a fusion configuration and consists of a 20-inch bass drum, a 14-inch floor tom, two toms at 10 and 12 inches each and a 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum. Thanks to the 6-ply birch wood, this set has a versatile, powerful sound.

Matching snare drum

The drum set includes a matching snare drum with the Natural Wood finish. This snare is equipped with 10 lugs that can be precisely adjusted. The legs for the bass drum have also been improved, and are equipped with stoppers to prevent it from moving around while you play and to make it easier to set up. Additionally, the hoops have been fashioned from wood to produce excellent timbre with the bass drum.

Innovative design

Yamaha has applied a number of practical solutions to this 5-piece set to provide optimal sound. The YESS mounting system, for example, assures minimum shell-to-hardware contact so you get excellent vibrations from your shells and not from your hardware. Furthermore, the ball clamp system makes it possible to get everything in exactly the right position for your playing style and needs. All in all, this is the ideal set for the serious drummer!

Hardware set

This set is supplied with Yamaha's HW-680 hardware package that consists of two cymbal stand with tilters, a hi-hat stand, a snare stand and a bass drum pedal. The set is extra compact and lightweight, making it ideal for drummers who perform often.
