General

The new and improved Yamaha Stage Custom Birch Cranberry Red drum kit is a great set for the serious beginner and the advanced drummer. Yamaha is always busy finding ways to improve their drum sets, and they know it's important to consult with suppliers, professionals and customers to find out what they want in their instruments. Using that advice and research, they offer the Stage Custom Birch, equipped with a number of new features. Rounded shell edges provide better contact with the drumheads, to produce an overall better sound. Also, the mounting system and ball clamps have been improved for better resonance.

Strong shells

This improved edition of the Yamaha Stage Custom Birch features 6-ply birch shells, for an extra-sturdy shell and a beautiful sound. Yamaha also chose to give the set a larger 22-inch bass drum and a 16-inch floor tom for a heavier sound that's perfect for rock bands. Furthermore, you'll find two toms at 10 and 12 inches and a matching 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum.

Drumheads

The Stage Custom shell set is equipped with Remo drumheads for absolute top quality. The toms feature Remo Ambassador Clear drumheads, and the bass drum has Remo Powerstroke 3 drumheads. A wooden hoop for the bass drum ensures optimal sound, and the toms have triple-flanged hoops of 1.5 mm.

Included stands

This attractive 5-piece drum set comes with a set of stands from the HS-680 series by Yamaha. The set consists of a bass drum pedal, a hi-hat stand, a snare drum stand and two cymbal stands with tilters. All you need to do is add some cymbals and a drum throne, and you're ready to go!
