General
IK Multimedia have developed yet another brilliant piece of software: Tonex. While it's similar to AmpliTube, there's one important difference: Tonex can be used to 'capture' your own guitar gear and turn it into a tone model, which is basically a digital fingerprint of the original hardware. In addition to 40 amps and 20 pedals, this edition comes loaded with over 400 tone models by default, but since no two amps ever sound exactly the same, any purists will be excited to have the option to create their own models at will.
