General
The Toshiya TT Black Rising Sun Graphic is a striking 5-string bass guitar, modelled on the instrument used by DIR EN GREY bassist Toshiya. The swamp ash body and three-piece hard maple neck provide a solid foundation with a direct response and clear attack. Thanks to the rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets and the extra-long 889 mm Super Long scale length, even the low B string remains tight and controlled. The Black Rising Sun Graphic finish also gives the bass a distinctive look that perfectly matches its powerful character.
Toshiya TT Black Rising Sun: powerful and versatile
For a powerful and versatile bass sound, the Toshiya TT is fitted with a Seymour Duncan SSB-5n in the neck position and an SSB-5b at the bridge. These passive soapbar pickups deliver a full-bodied tone with sufficient definition for heavy riffs and melodic basslines. With the master volume control and active 3-band EQ, you can easily tailor the sound to your amplifier and playing style. The GOTOH GB707E tuning machines and GOTOH J510SJ-5 bridge ensure reliable tuning and stable string action. This makes this 5-string bass a strong choice for both the studio and the stage.
