General

The Schecter Hellraiser Extreme-4 is a high-quality 4-string electric bass guitar that combines a powerful look with a modern, versatile sound. The body is made of mahogany and features a beautifully figured maple top. The one-piece neck is constructed from multiple layers of maple and walnut and features Ultra Access, ensuring that even the higher frets remain easily accessible. The ebony fretboard is finished with striking Gothic Cross inlays made of mother-of-pearl. The Crimson Red Burst Satin finish and Black Chrome hardware complete the look. The bass is fitted with 24 X-Jumbo frets and has a 34-inch scale length.

Active EMG pickups

For its tone, the Hellraiser Extreme-4 utilises two EMG 35TW pickups, one at the bridge and one at the neck. These pickups offer a versatile combination of clarity and power and, thanks to the push-pull control, allow you to switch between different pickup characters. The active EMG 3-band equaliser also gives you extensive options for precisely shaping the sound. The two volume controls also feature a push-pull function. The bridge is a Schecter Custom Bass String-Thru, which can also be used as a top-load bridge. This allows you to choose whichever stringing method best suits your playing style.

Comfortable neck-through construction

The maple/walnut multi-ply neck has a Thin C profile and, together with the neck-through construction, forms a solid foundation for a direct response and long sustain. With a scale length of 34 inches and a nut width of 38 mm, the bass feels familiar to players accustomed to a standard long-scale bass. The ebony fingerboard has a radius of 16 inches (406 mm) and features 24 X-Jumbo frets. Grover tuners ensure stable tuning. The bass comes fitted with Ernie Ball 4-String Super Long #2849 strings. The matching SCSGR-6B case is available separately.
