This full pack kits out any novice guitarist with a full-sized, left-handed TE-style solid-body electric guitar, a Kubo 10 practise amplifier, a jack lead, and even a plectrum pack. The Fazley FST218 electric guitar has a nice and lightweight basswood body that, combined with the mounted set of two single-coil pickups, delivers a classic mix of twang, bite and growl.
The Fazley Kubo 10 Practice Amp
Along with a guitar, Fazley throw in their very own Kubo 10: a compact, lightweight combo electric guitar amplifier loaded with a single 5-inch speaker. This brilliantly affordable little 10-Watter is perfect for practising and mastering licks and riffs at home and even features a distortion switch to dirty things up and spit raw tone. Dial in your sound using the built-in two-band EQ section and plug in your phone, tablet, or computer via the mini-jack AUX input so you can play tracks back via your amp while you play along at the same time. OK, this may benefit a few people. I learned to play a right handed guitar left handed back in the 70's/80's. This enabled me to pick up any right handed guitar and play it without changing the strings around. The problem then was with the switches and controls along with the power cable which were above my left arm rather then below and also the machine heads were upside down and the strap was slung underneath,
going around the back of the base of the neck which caused it to be unstable. I haven't really played since those days for years and since retiring (at a younger age of 55) I decided to buy a cheap left handed guitar. This one fitted the bill, but it also meant I had to reverse the strings as the bottom E was now at its proper position at the top whereas I was used to it being at the bottom of the fretboard. I emailed Bax and asked if I could change the original nut to one that would suit a right handed guitar ie the bottom E being at the bottom instead of the top without affecting my warranty. They replied that my overall warranty was still covered except for any damage I did to the neck replacing the nut. I thought this fair enough. I purchased a right handed 42mm bone nut and replaced the original one and restrung the guitar with Rotosound 10 strings. I can only say that I am very pleased with the outcome. The guitar is great for me. I am not a musician but enjoy playing, so I cannot make any comparison to a Squier or Fender version but the you tube videos I have seen on this guitar are very positive for an inexpensive telecaster. I am very happy with my purchase and how it sounds.

Mooi ogende gitaar die goed klinkt. Is zeker niet te zwaar voor een elektrische gitaar. Snaren ook van goede kwaliteit. Mooi prijsje voor een mooie gitaar. Spijtig dat het plastiek er niet heel goed af gaat, maar laat dat je niet tegen houden om deze gitaar aan te schaffen!

Versterker goed genoeg om thuis te oefenen. Alleen jammer dat er een behoorlijk aanwezige brom aanwezig is. Als ik een snaar aanraak dan wordt brom gedempt. Nog iets aanwezig. Er zijn geen andere apparaten in de buurt welke verstoring kunnen geven.
