General
The Throbber CTM Black combines a classic single-cut look with high-quality Japanese craftsmanship and a modern playing experience. The mahogany body features a maple top and is paired with a glued three-piece hard maple neck. The rosewood fingerboard, with 22 frets and a 305 mm radius, provides a comfortable foundation for both chords and lead parts, whilst the 648 mm scale length ensures a smooth string action. The deep black finish, binding and elegant design give this guitar a timeless look that comes into its own both on stage and in the studio.
Throbber CTM: classic character with modern control
Two Seymour Duncan humbuckers deliver a wide range of powerful and dynamic sounds. The SH-1n at the neck delivers a warm, full-bodied tone, whilst the SH-4 JB at the bridge provides a firm attack and clear articulation. With the separate volume and tone controls and the 3-way pickup selector switch, you can easily tailor the sound to your playing style. The TonePros T3BT bridge and T1Z tailpiece ensure solid string transmission and good sustain, whilst the GOTOH SD90 tuning machines complete the classic character.
