General
The Throbber CTM Splash Blue Metallic combines a classic single-cut design with high-quality Japanese craftsmanship and a striking metallic finish. The alder body with ivory binding is paired with a hard maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. The 648 mm scale length and 305 mm radius ensure a familiar playing feel, whilst the Star-Cut neck joint offers extra comfort when playing in the higher positions. The fresh Splash Blue Metallic finish gives this Throbber a modern look whilst retaining its classic character.
Throbber CTM: classic design with modern flair
The combination of two Seymour Duncan pickups gives this guitar a broad and characterful tonal palette. The SP90-1n at the neck delivers a full, dynamic sound with a clear attack, whilst the TB-59 at the bridge provides a more powerful tone with extra punch and definition. With the master volume, master tone and 3-way pickup selector, control is simple and you can switch between sounds quickly. The ESP Custom Lab fixed bridge with string routing through the body ensures direct string transmission, whilst the GOTOH SG360-07 MG-T tuning machines contribute to reliable tuning and easier string changes.
