General

Built with love and care in the ESP Custom Shop in Japan, the high-precision ESP Guitars James Hetfield Signature Vulture is a sonic and aesthetic masterclass of a guitar - specifically designed for a master guitarist. This is one of Hetfield's favourites and, like every guitar he deems worthy, this model comes furnished with a solid mahogany body with a set-in mahogany neck, forming a solid tonal foundation with a nicely fierce attack. The ebony fretboard adds a deluxe touch and enhanced playability while filling out the acoustic tone some extra body, and a TonePros Locking TOM bridge and matching tailpiece combine to boost the stability.

The ESP Guitars James Hetfield Signature Custom Shop Vulture: Big Look, Big Sound

The Vulture doesn't just look imposing but sounds it, all thanks to a full pack of James Hetfield’s own EMG pickups. These balanced humbuckers lay out the definition and sound of passive dual-coils alongside the power of active pickups, giving you the best of both worlds. The fitted set of locking tuners guarantee solid tuning, no matter how hard the riff work gets, and feature a smart thumb-screw design to help speed up string-changes. High-grade performance from the lower bout to the finessed headstock, the ESP James Hetfield Signature Vulture comes complete with a form-fitting ESP case.
