Outlaw Series Sheriff Plus with roasted maple
The neck of the Fazley Outlaw Series Sheriff Plus is constructed from a roasted maple neck with a modern C-profile and a silk (satin) finish. In addition, the roasted maple fingerboard features 22 medium jumbo frets. As a result, the Sheriff Plus feels instantly familiar. By using a Graph Tech TUSQ nut and a modern 2-point tremolo, you can count on stable tuning stability and accurate intonation. Each one comes with a set of D'Addario strings as standard, so you can start playing right away.

Ho acquistato questa chitarra (a 160 euro) su consiglio di un mio amico insegnante di musica, dopo anni passati a suonare esclusivamente l’acustica. È quindi la mia prima elettrica, e devo dire che per il prezzo rappresenta una scelta davvero valida per iniziare.
Il manico è comodo e scorrevole, la tastiera ben rifinita, il corpo solido. La chitarra arriva già con un settaggio di base molto buono, pronto per suonare subito. Ho dovuto solo serrare leggermente le meccaniche, un’operazione semplice che richiede giusto un cacciavite e due minuti di tempo.
Il punto che considero un po’ più debole è il ponte, comunque funzionale per iniziare, ma che probabilmente sostituirò con un modello di qualità superiore. Resta in ogni caso uno strumento più che valido come base da cui partire.
Possibili upgrade consigliati:
Meccaniche autobloccanti (foro paletta da 10 mm)
Pickup più performanti per un suono più definito
Sostituzione del ponte, che utilizza misure standard: (Interasse pivot: ~56 mm, Spaziatura corde: ~10.8 mm, Dimensioni piastra: ~83 × 40 mm)
Nel complesso, la Fazley Outlaw Sheriff Plus SSS è davvero un ottimo punto di partenza per chi, come me, si avvicina per la prima volta al mondo delle elettriche senza voler spendere troppo, ma con la possibilità di migliorare lo strumento passo dopo passo.
