General

The Mooer GTRS Guitars Wing 800 Intelligent Guitar is a brilliantly innovative axe that seamlessly combines traditional sound with digital technology. The beating hart of the W800 is the active GTRS processor which serves up four tone presets that can be selected with the fitted super-knob and completely customised to taste. Add that to the eleven guitar sounds, 126 effects, drum machine, metronome, looper and other functions of the GTRS companion app, and you're looking at sound-sculpting options for days. What's more is that the Wing 800 comes complete with a gig bag and a USB-C cable.

The Wing 800 Intelligent Guitar: Solid Foundation

Needless to say, all of that modern tech is useless if the basics aren't done right, which is why Mooer have opted for an ergonomically-contoured alder body. Not only that, the weight has been kept down to a more-than-manageable 2.7kg, but what also stands out is the multi-scale design where the scale length graduates from 25.2-inches at the sixth string to 25.5-inches at the first string. This results in lightly fanned frets, which only lift the playing comfort while a pair of specially-developed HM-2 humbuckers take care of rich tone - even when the GTRS processor is powered down.
