General

The Schecter Ernie C C-1 Satin Black Reign is a signature electric guitar developed in collaboration with Ernie C of the metal band Body Count. This striking guitar features a mahogany body and a one-piece three-piece maple neck with carbon fibre reinforcement rods. This neck-through construction contributes to the instrument’s stability and sustain. The ebony fretboard is fitted with 24 stainless steel X-Jumbo frets. Thanks to the Ultra Thin C neck profile, the 25.5-inch scale length and the comfortable Ultra Access construction, this C-1 is ideally suited to fast and technical playing styles.

Powerful EMG pickups

The EMG 81 in the bridge position and the EMG 89 in the neck position combine to form a powerful pickup combination for robust guitar tones. Both active humbuckers feature Black Chrome covers. The 3-way pickup selector switch allows you to choose between the different pickup combinations. The tone control also features a push-pull function that allows the EMG 89 in the neck position to be split for additional tonal possibilities. As a result, the Schecter Ernie C C-1 not only offers the aggressive and direct tone you’d expect from a metal guitar, but also plenty of versatility for other heavy music styles.

Floyd Rose and high-quality hardware

For expressive vibrato effects, the Schecter Ernie C C-1 is fitted with a Floyd Rose 1500 Series double-locking tremolo. This bridge offers extensive possibilities for pitch effects and dive-ins, whilst the locking mechanism helps to maintain stable tuning. The Grover tuning machines and Black Nickel hardware complement this perfectly. Furthermore, the guitar comes strung as standard with a set of Ernie Ball Regular Slinky #2221 strings with gauges ranging from .010 to .046. A matching Schecter SGR-1C hard case is available separately for the safe transport and storage of the guitar.
