General

The Larry Carlton S7 New Gen by Sire is a guitar with quality and modern parts at a favourable price. For instance, it has medium-jumbo frets made of stainless steel that are highly wear-resistant one and compound radius fretboard. It also features side-dot fret markers that light up in the dark, making performing on a dark stage never so easy. So for demanding musicians, this is an ideal guitar. It features a modern-looking pickguard made of anodised aluminium. That also provides some more nuanced mid-frequencies. For those who still prefer a standard PVC pickguard, this is of course also simply included.

Equipment

This variant of the S7 New Gen is equipped with three Sire LC Super-ST single-coil pickups, in addition it has a bridge with vibrato. A classic combination and it makes this guitar suitable for many genres and playing styles. It features a 5-way switch that allows switching between the different elements (combinations). Extra attention has been paid by Sire to the ergonomics of the neck and fingerboard. The so-called "Edgeless" fingerboard has rounded edges and a compound radius of 9.5-14 inches which makes it very comfortable to play both high and low on the neck.
