The PAC611HFM is equipped with a P-90 single-coil pickup at the neck and a vintage-style humbucker at the bridge for a wide range of musical sounds. The Pacifica 611HFM: Seymour Duncan Pickups

The Yamaha PAC611HFM is equipped with pickups from the top brand, Seymour Duncan. In the bridge position, the Custom 5 has been installed, which is a humbucker pickup based on the classic '59. It delivers the same vintage sound, but with more output and deeper lows. The SP90 in the neck position is a reproduction of an original '50s P-90 soapbar single-coil pickup. It has a lot of output and powerful mids that give it a wicked sound that really cuts through the mix. The tone control of the Pacifica 611HFM features a special push-pull knob, and if you pull it out the humbucker will function as a single-coil for a clean, twangy sound.

Yamaha is known for their reliability and quality, and the Pacifica 611HFM is a pristine model of just that. This guitar is equipped with Grover locking tuners for extremely stable tuning and fast string changes. Additionally, the bridge is equipped with String Saver saddles by Graphtech, which are made of a special composite of graphite and Teflon, just as the TUSQ XL nut and string guides. Thanks to the self-lubricating properties of this material, your strings won't stick in the nut or break on the saddles, which is typical when strings cut into metal saddles.
