General

With the Pacifica SC PACS+11SM Standard Plus, Yamaha introduces a fresh new variant within the much-loved Pacifica line. This electric guitar combines the familiar Pacifica playing feel with a telecaster body, which immediately sets it apart from other Standard Plus models. The alder body with black high-gloss finish looks sleek and modern. But the sound is good too: the PACS+11SM provides a bright, punchy base that works perfectly in both clean and crunch settings. Also new in this generation is the body construction with Acoustic Design technology, resulting in extra resonance and a lively, open sound.

New pickup combination

What makes this PACS+11SM especially interesting is the pickup configuration. Instead of the more common setups, you will find a Reflectone single coil at the bridge and a Reflectone humbucker at the neck. This pickup configuration delivers a wide sound spectrum: from a vintage-like sound and sparkling cleans to full, modern lead sounds. And thanks to the push-pull 'Focus Switch', you get that extra bit of power from your sound. Which is ideal for solos or solid rhythm beats.

Sound & comfort

Playing this Yamaha feels nice. The C-shaped neck invites you to keep playing and the maple fingerboard with stainless steel frets help you when playing fast licks! For the perfect balance between comfort and attack, the Pacifica is strung with D'Addario XL .010-.046 strings. And the 3-way element switch lets you intuitively switch between pickups for a bright, warm or powerful sound. With the included gig bag, you can also take your new acquisition with you safely and easily! Whether you're playing at home, in the studio or taking to the stage, the Yamaha Pacifica SC PACS11+11SM Standard Plus won't let you down.
