Want a less standard but no less high-end electric guitar? Take a punt at this new Yamaha Revstar Professional RSP20 in Swift Blue - we promise it won't let you down. In fact, it doesn't get much better than this in terms of build quality because we're talking about a model that was made with no effort or expenses spared. Built in Yamaha's Japanese workshop, the flagship guitar in the Revstar Professional Series first of all features an uber-comfortable neck fashioned out of first-rate rosewood and topped with stainless steel frets. It's no wonder it comes complete with a hard-shell case.

The Revstar Professional RSP20: Innovation and Quality

Pick it up and you'll immediately notice how light and balanced the instrument feels. That's no coincidence either: Yamaha have used a special technology they call "Acoustic Design", which is essentially a targeted way to hollow out the guitar in order to reduce its weight and enhance its resonance and 'energy'. After 'chambering' the axe, Yamaha added reinforcing carbon strips to the neck and body, before coating the whole thing in high-gloss Sunset Burst lacquer and sealing it off with cream-white binding.

Humbuckers Combined With a 5-Way Switch for Maximum Versatility

Whether you love ultra-clean tone, straight-up rock or something rich and jazzy, the Revstar Professional RSP20 has got you covered. The humbuckers at the neck and bridge are well-matched and team up to produce a forceful, focussed sound, while the 5-way toggle switch ensures a wide tonal spectrum to explore. The tone pot even comes equipped with what Yamaha have dubbed the Focus switch - flip it and you'll get treated a more aggressive, rock-ready sound full of boosted lows and mids.
