General

The USA range by the renowned brand Guild contains high-quality acoustic guitars in various sizes. The steel-string D-55E Natural is well known as a luxurious model and features a built-in L.R. Baggs piëzo pickup. The sides and back are made of Indian rosewood and the top is made of AAA solid Sitka spruce. The set-in neck is made of mahogany and has a fretboard and bridge that are both made of ebony. The entire instrument is finished with a special nitrocellulose lacquer. Originally, this guitar was introduced in 1968 as a custom Dreadnought, but it became so popular that it was taken into regular production in 1974. Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day) and Waylon Jennings are both loyal fans of this classic Dreadnought. The D-55E is a true American electro-acoustic guitar that comes with a deluxe custom case.

Ik heb deze gitaar ruim 1,5 jaar geleden gekocht bij Bax en ben nog altijd super tevreden. Ik heb eerdere diverse andere akoestische gitaren gehad, maar deze past me het best. De gitaar ziet er prachtig uit en is perfect in elkaar gezet. Daarnaast vind ik het geluid geweldig, heel vol en helder, het gaat een beetje in de richting van het geluid van jumbo formaat gitaar. Zoals gezegd: super blij met deze gitaar!
