The composition of the DDK-080 is five-piece, with a hihat, crash and ride. The snare drum and the three toms are 8-inch in diameter and have two triggers (dual zone). The hihat, crash and ride cymbals are all 10-inch in diameter. All cymbals have a 'choke' function, which means that if you hit the crash with your stick - you can mute the cymbal again by gripping it with your hand. The cymbals have 1 trigger (single zone). The DDK-080 also comes with two pedals. A bass drum pedal with built-in trigger, and a hihat pedal with built-in trigger. The advantage of these types of pedals is that they don't hit anything, so vibrations from floors and walls are less. Speaking of which - thanks to the mesh skins on the toms and snare, the acoustic noise you hear when you're playing is minimal. Of course, you will hear some ticking, but it makes a huge difference! So it's ideal if you live in a flat.
