Such is the case with Yamaha's DTX series. This series contains several models that at first glance look exactly the same. The difference is in the details. This DTX452K drum kit is Yamaha's most advanced entry-level model in this price range. The drum kit is distinguished from the DTX402K and DTX432K by the triple zone snare drum pad, the bass drum pad and the slightly more expensive hihat controller. The toms, module and cymbals are the same. A big advantage of this set is that everything is adjustable in height, making the drum kit suitable for young and old!

It may seem like a small difference, such a triple zone snare drum pad and a bass drum pad. Yet the bass drum pad gives a much more pleasant and natural playing feel than the trigger pedal that the cheaper DTX402K has. Namely, you have real mechanical action where a beater is used - just like on a real drum kit. The triple zone snare drum pad has three triggers, giving you much more tonal possibilities and also allowing you to play rimshots and rimclicks. The DTX402K's module is easy to operate and includes ten preset drum sets. You can customise these sets entirely to your liking. It is also possible to compile your own sets from the hundreds of sounds the module contains. Furthermore, the module is equipped with various coach functions so that practising has never been so fun and challenging!
