General

The Yamaha YDS-152 digital saxophone opens up even more possibilities for your saxophone playing. This further development of the YDS-150 adds sixteen instrument sounds, including violin and trumpet. This means you can not only switch between soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones, but also explore the sounds of other acoustic instruments. The familiar saxophone fingering and the alto saxophone mouthpiece form the basis for this. The Integrated Bell Acoustic System combines digital sounds with a resonating brass bell, for a playing experience that mirrors that of an acoustic wind instrument. This combination also forms the basis of the YDS-150. Fancy thinking outside the box when it comes to your usual saxophone part? With the extensive range of sounds, the possibilities are endless.

Updated controls and practising at your own volume

The controls and connectivity have also been updated: USB-C replaces micro-USB, the key switches are more durable, and the analogue controller features a new component. In doing so, Yamaha has addressed various aspects of the existing design. For practising, you have fifteen volume levels and a headphone socket at your disposal. You can connect a smartphone or audio player via the aux input to play along with your favourite music. The Yamaha YDS Controller app offers additional customisation options, just like the basic model. You can play on batteries or via USB power, so you don’t always need a mains socket. With the included mouthpiece, carrying strap and soft case, you have a practically complete package.

Bax Music Warranty This product comes with a 3-year warranty.
