General

The DiMarzio DP181 Fast Track 1 is a single coil pickup that can be used in a strat configuration in all positions. The pickup has more headroom than a standard vintage single coil and works very well with both clean and overdriven amps. The Fast Track 1 can be combined very well with humbucker elements, as the pickup has a wide dynamic range and can therefore claim its place within the sound. The constant magnetic field with two blades creates an even balance with little pulling force, eliminating the "drop pull" sometimes noticed with bar magnets.
