General

With the DiMarzio DP223 PAF Bridge 36th Anniversary, you get a bridge pickup inspired by the original PAF (Patent Applied For) humbucker. Think of it as a modern version of a classic. This 36th Anniversary edition is just as loud as the Virtual Hot PAF, but has much more low-end and definition in the midrange, similar to the Virtual PAF bridge element. The focus on the high frequencies is greater than in the aforementioned models, which in turn allows for smoother reproduction of the higher notes. The bridge model of the PAF 36th Anniversary has a higher output than the neck model.
