General
With the DiMarzio DP423 Injector Bridge, you get a hot single coil pickup, with an output of a whopping 185mV with six individual Alnico 2 magnets. If you're looking for a vintage-style single coil, it's best to avoid this one. The high is very present but not glassy-like and the low is solid but with definition. Designed in collaboration with Racer X and Mr Big guitarist Paul Gilbert, this single coil pickup works very well for solos with high gain. In terms of clean sound, the element is also very well balanced, has plenty of pick-attack and a wide dynamic range.
