Are you looking for a reliable handheld microphone, guaranteed to sound tight up to 90 metres or so? Then this variant of the BLX2 is the right choice. This model is a combination of the world-famous Beta 58A microphone capsule and the BLX-2 UHF analogue transmitter. The unit operates on the UHF band and can be combined with BLX series receivers. Up to 14 hours of speaking, singing or playing can be done before the two AA batteries throw in the towel. The Beta 58A delivers clear speech and its supercardioid recording pattern eliminates unnecessary noise.

Shure's BLX wireless series

Shure's BLX series consists of several wireless transmitters and receivers, designed as affordable but professional-sounding wireless solutions for vocals, speech and music. Shure's reliability is evident in these handhelds, bodypacks and receivers. The BLX series operates on the UHF frequency and is optimised to provide the most stable signal possible. The models are light but very sturdy and ideal for musicians and technicians who frequently change location.
