General

Are you looking for a reliable handheld microphone that still sounds great at a distance of 100 yards? Check out this model, which combines the analogue BLX-2 UHF transmitter with the world-famous Beta 58A microphone capsule. This system uses the UHF band, and is compatible with any receiver from the BLX series. Powered by two AA batteries, it allows you to speak, sing or play for up to 14 hours. The Beta 58A capsule clearly captures your voice and, thanks to its super-cardioid pickup pattern, hardly picks up any background noise.

Shure’s wireless BLX series

With their BLX series, Shure has issued a reliable line of wireless receivers and transmitters for vocals, speech and music. These handheld microphones, bodypacks and receivers offer a professional solution for an affordable price. The BLX series uses the UHF frequency, and was optimised to ensure stable signal transmission. Lightweight yet rugged, these models are ideal for touring musicians and engineers.

Shure BLX2 - Beta 58A (K14, 614-638 MHz) wireless microphone
