Best Service Emotional Cello virtual instrument, is a package that shows how it is played. This instrument deserves a real solo role in your music production, such is the convincing sound. More than 50 articulations are present. These are spread over three master patches (Emotional Cello, Sulpontcello and Harmonic Cello) and some additional patches. To give you an idea of what's on offer: legato, spiccato, spiccatissimo, spilegno, six pizzicatos, tremolo... and a whole lot more. With the sounds available, you should be able to reproduce about 90% of what a cellist ever encounters in cello music.

Features of Best Service Emotional Cello

Emotional Cello is a virtual instrument for Kontakt, recorded in stereo but also usable in mono. As it is really common these days, Emotional Cello has round robins (multiple recordings of the same note) that make literal repetitions sound realistic and human. Fortunately, the maker has been very reasonable in this; where applicable, you get two, four or eight round robins depending on the chosen articulation. There is also support for neighbour-stealing. This involves 'borrowing' samples from the immediate neighbours and transposing them, which at least doubles the number of round robins. It is very positive that this library has such a wide range in this area; round robins are perhaps the best indication of quality.

History

The history of sample-based music production hangs together from tricks and makeshift solutions. And it had to be, the limited memory capacity of yesteryear meant that instruments had to cost little memory. There were traditionally two solutions: very good synthesis, and immersion in reverb and other instruments. Synthesis was only limited and many could do little with it. Immersion in large orchestral layers was reasonably doable, but when playing a solo part, the producer clearly fell through. Emotional Cello is a virtual instrument that stands proud even in a solo context.
