Although a Hammond B3 was something of a utopia for bands in the 1960s, the lugging around turned out to be just a little less fun. Hence, portable electronic organs appeared, which of course were also considerably cheaper. It was the time of the combo organs, and nowadays it seems a bit of a forgotten product group. With all the virtual B3s, you would almost forget that there were other organs. The Martinic Elka Panther is a virtual recreation of the Elka Panther 300, also known as the Capri. A delightful vintage organ from 1966 that is very unlikely to be very well known. The technique used is physical modelling, and therefore you get an exact approximation of 't original. However, Martinic also added some nice things that make it a bit more contemporary, such as an extended note range. All in all, an excellent organ sound that prog rockers in particular will enjoy.
