A synth-based household name, Roland have now created digital emulations of many of their best-loved vintage synth-monsters and made them available via the Roland Cloud. Here, you can download your very own virtual legend in the form of the Juno-106. Arguably one of the most popular analogue synthesizers to have emerged in the eighties, the Juno 106 was an updated edition of the Juno 60, which in turn, was an updated edition of the Juno 6, but with presets. Also, because the Juno 106 was so cheap, easy to control and had a solid sound, it popped up in countless synth bands, and by tweaking just a couple of faders, you could conjure an entirely different sound. Now available as a plug-in, this is the only official Roland-developed virtual Juno 106, planting a genuine classic directly on your DAW control panel.
