General
Would you like to start a microphone collection for your home studio? With the Blue Bottle Rocket Mic Locker, Blue Microphones gets you off to a flying start. This set combines the transparent, ultra-quiet Bottle Rocket Stage One condenser microphone with no fewer than four different microphone capsules: the B0, the B6, the B7 and the B8. Each of these Bottle Caps - as Blue refers to them - offers its own characteristics, which is ideal as each application and sound source requires its own specific sound. If you're making multi-layered vocal recordings, it's also possible to use a different capsule for each track, ensuring exceptionally rich results.
Bottle Rocket Mic Locker: The Capsules
This Blue microphone set consists of a durable SKB case, filled with the familiar blue Stage One microphone base, a shock mount and four Bottle Caps. The B8, which comes standard with the Bottle Rocket, is a real all-rounder that serves you well in any situation. It produces a crystal-clear, detailed, versatile sound. For silky soft, intimate vocals with a wide treble range, you need the B0, while the B6 captures your voice with a grand, modern touch. If you're a fan of vintage sounds and detailed mids, however, the B7 is the go-to capsule for you. Changing the Bottle Caps is easy, so this practical Mic Locket set won't waste any of your valuable recording time.
