The AKG C 414 XLII is a high-quality studio microphone equipped with an extensively adjustable pickup pattern, as well as a special capsule that differs from the C 414 XLS. The XLII is very adept at registering solo instruments or lead vocals articulately. Thanks to the light presence boost and the extensive, spatial details of the sound (akin to those of the legendary C 12), this large-diaphragm microphone transmits your vocals to the mixer.

The AKG C 414 XLII/ST Microphones: A High-Quality Pair

This AKG set consists of two, nearly identical C 414 XLIIs. Via an advanced method, a matching pair is found from thousands of units. The sensitivity and frequency response of the two units needs to be no more than 1 dB apart.
