General

The Neumann TLM 103 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone with famous ancestors and a modern sound. This is because the capsule is based on the K67/87 capsule known from legendary microphones such as the U 67 and the U 87. The TLM 103 has inherited the detailed mid frequencies that these Neumann microphones are known for but, thanks to its wide presence boost, it still sounds very modern. Also, unlike the U 87 and U 67 respectively, the TLM 103 does not use transformers and/or tubes. This ensures a wider dynamic range. When recording delicate instruments, their own noise is nowhere to be seen and, on the other hand, this all-rounder can record ear-shattering drums and guitar amps without overdriving. Together with the EA1 shockmount, this TLM 103 Mono Set comes in a deluxe case.
